Expression Holds offers numerous color options to customize your climbing holds! As color codes and materials may vary between our different production sites, we have created this guide to help you navigate through them.

Color options

Expression Holds products are available in a wide variety of colors at no additional cost:

  • Classic Colors: Green, Yellow, Red, Blue, Purple, Gray, Black, White.
  • Fluorescent Colors: Fluo Orange, Fluo Pink, Fluo Yellow, Fluo Green.
  • Special Colors: Mint, US Orange, US Purple...

Please note, Gray and Fluorescent Yellow are available only in PE.

Material and production options

Our products are available in several materials and are manufactured at various production sites to optimally serve your location:

  • Composite-X: Used in Europe. Polyester (PE) and Polyurethan (PU)
  • Kastline: For the Asian market. Fiberglass macros and PU.
  • Aragon: For the American market. PU.

Color comparison in images

Please note the following when comparing colors of holds, macros, and climbing volumes:

  • There will inevitably be color differences between materials, despite manufacturers' efforts. These differences can vary in intensity depending on the colors.
  • Colors may appear differently depending on your device's or screen's display settings.

Color options for other materials

Expression Holds also manufactures volumes in wood and fiberglass. Color variations may occur between different materials, and an exact match may not be possible.

However, we strive to come as close as possible.

Wood volumes

  • You can order them in any color listed in the price list.
  • They can also be produced without color, simply in "wood color" with a beautiful texture.

Fiberglass macros

  • You can order them in any Composite-X or Aragon colors
  • The color match will be close but not exact.

Using climbing holds outdoors

Expression Holds climbing holds can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, when using holds outdoors, consider the following:

  • Polyester (PE) tends to withstand weather conditions better.
  • Dark colors are preferable. Light colors may yellow over time.
  • UV rays can cause premature aging of the color and appearance of the holds.

Expression Holds cannot be held responsible for accelerated aging of the holds. If you are building an outdoor wall, we strongly recommend sheltering it to extend the lifespan of your climbing wall.
