We wanted to write this section in Comic Sans MS, but then we thought it would be funnier to have this section named after the one in "ONE PIECE", and add FUN FACTS as well. People love fun facts.

By the way, did you know that in japanese frequently asked questions are called 質問を募集する, Shitsumon wo Bushuu Suru ? That being said, on with questions everyone asks about Expression.

What are the climbing holds made of?

There are two main materials to make climbing holds: the PE (polyester) and the PU (polyurethane).

Polyester is more "stone-like", and cheaper, but also heavier and more fragile. Polyester is still the preferred material in Europe.

Polyurethane is lighter, more impact-resistant and flexible, but more expensive. It is very trendy in North America, where Canadians and Americans use a great majority of the holds that were made in polyurethane (PU). This material is more and more used in Europe, like in competitions or bouldering.

Where are they made?

Where? Well, in the house. Where where? Well, in the kitchen.

(It's from "La Flamme", best French serie of 2020, perfect for a lockdown)

The holds are designed and shaped in Kerlifornia for most of the ranges of Expression.

What are the average production and delivery times?

What is the smallest hold available on Expression Holds?

Well, good question my friend, truth is, we can't really tell.

But, what we are sure of is that this hold must be part of the Boulder Pure Screw Ons Feet set.

Say, out of all the holds available on Expression Holds, what is the largest?

There are two possible answers to that question.

First, the longest hold of the brand is either the Boulder Half Pipe Macro 1, or the Boulder Legend Scales 07 / Ramp 07.

Second, in terms of large holds, there are also the 3 Boulder Volcanoes, with hot and eruptive designs.

Where does the name of the ranges come from?

For the range BOULDER, the name speaks for itself, as this range was made for bouldering. However, it can also be used to add more lead climbing! Just seeing the replays of the 2019 Chamonix World Cup is enough to make our fingers itch.

The holds of the range PRO MODELS were shaped by…professionals, like Romain Desgranges.

As we are a French brand, we had to name one of our range BLEAU, after one of the most famous spots for bouldering: FONTAINEBLEAU.

The range DESERT POINT refers to boulders discovered by our shaper when he went bouldering in a desert region.

The range RIVERBED refers to the river and its shores, water flowing between rocks, stones and earth.

The new range COCONUTS ? The shaper loves coconuts.

What is the boss's favorite hold?

"I love the curves of the Boulder Legend Magic Holes n°05" Simon
